Cembra Valley

Faver is a small village in Cembra Valley, considered by many to be the cradle of Trentino Grappa.

The area of the valley is a terraced vineyard landscape sustained by about seven hundred miles of dry stone walls that man has ripped from the steep slopes that descend to the river Avisio.

Heroic viticulture

Heroic viticulture and extreme, cultivable only with great difficulty.

The history of Trentino grappa is closely linked to that of Cembra Valley, a vine garden planted with vines since the fourth century BC, as evidenced by the discovery of Situla on Doss Caslir in Cembra, a votive vase for wine. which makes Cembra the oldest cradle of vine growing in Trentino and consequently of grappa.
